SSI’s Blue Oceans helps you make a difference when it comes to protecting our planet’s most valuable asset. Among its goals:
- Consuming fewer natural resources
- Producing less waste
- Removing waste wherever possible
These are goals Harry’s Dive Shop not only supports but has practiced for years. For example, we:
- Don’t put merchandise in plastic bags, unless they are ones customers bring us for recycling.
- Re-use items that might normally go to waste, such as envelopes, paper and even t-shirts.
- Take mesh bags with us on all our dive trips, so we can pick up and properly dispose of trash found on the beach and bottom.
