The destination
North of the Honduran mainland are the islands of Roatan, Utila and Guanaja. Just offshore is the Meso- American Reef, which is the second largest reef in the world and is one of the best places to learn, explore and advance your scuba diving skills.
The diving
Unlike Roatan and Utila, Guanaja is largely devoid of tourists making the dive sites truly your own. From exploring wrecks like the Jado Trader and Don Enrique, to wall dives like the Gorgonian and Black Rock Canyon, you’ll find Guanaja diving is an amazing experience.
The resort
Designed and handcrafted by locals, Sunset Bay Lodge is brand new with exquisite details. Sitting on one of the most beautiful beaches in Guanaja, the lodge spans hundreds of feet of private sandy beach with crystal clear ocean paradise water awaiting your footprints.
