Starting dates and times

After you have attended the orientation session and complete all of the self-study requirements, the next step is to attend a series of knowledge review and skills development sessions. Remember that before taking part in any other course activities, you need to attend one of our, four-hour orientation sessions.

Knowledge review and skill development sessions are available on any of three different schedules.

Weekend Classes

Weekend classes are action-packed and very demanding of your time and attention.You must sign up for these in advance; you cannot simply show up.

Classes meet from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Satruday and Sunday. You must attend both days.

Because of the accelerated schedule, weekend students are invited to come to other scheduled pool nights at no additional charge — with advance notice. See available starting dates below.

Open Water Training Weekends

Open-water training weekends take place once a month, from March through October, in the Florida Panhandle. You can see available dates below or check out other options.

Private Lessons

During private lessons, we cover everything we do during our normal beginning scuba courses — including the orientation session. The difference is, you make your own schedule. This is something we are able to do because of the flexibility afforded by having our own pool on premises.
