Great White Shark Expedition

August 8-15, 2010

Somehow, even the best photos and video still can’t convey what you feel when you come face to face with the world’s most perfect predator. But that is exactly what you can do in August, 2010, on our next Great White Shark expedition to Isla Guadeloupe off Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.

This liveaboard dive trip departs from San Diego, California. You’ll travel south along Baja and arrive at Isla Guadeloupe, where the fun begins. You can expect the crew to provide all the comfort, convenience and great food one typical of this sort of adventure.

That having been said, it is important to understand that this is not your typical liveaboard dive vacation.

• To start, the water, while clear, is not exactly what you would call tropical. You will need a 7mm wetsuit or a drysuit, plus hood and gloves.

• What you won’t need to bring are a BC, regulator or instrumentation. All diving is done in cages, using surface-supplied air.

• You will want to bring either an underwater still or video camera. Experiences like this are ones will want to share with friends, family members, coworkers — and especially the people you most want to make jealous.

• Understand there are no other diving activities scheduled, other than the crew trying their best to ensure that each and every passenger gets to spend as much time in the cage as possible, experiencing sharks “up close and personal.”
